Bareilly Cantonment Board has undertaken renovation/ improvement of C.F. Properties with creation of Multi-nature Assets/premises which comprise widening/ resurfacing of Public roads, renovation and face-lifting of Public Gardens/Parks, Office, Schools, Markets/Shops, Cremation ground, Water Supply Schemes, Cantt Fund Quarters etc.
The Construction of Community Hall, Barat Ghar, Yugveena Public Library, Gandhi Chowk, Veerangana Chowk, Shaheed Chowk, stadium complex and mechanization of conservancy fleet etc. has also been undertaken and various schemes are under planning stages.

Whoever intents to erect or re-erect any building in Cantonment is required to apply on prescribed application form for sanction by giving notice in writing to the Cantonment Board office. The construction activities are accordingly regulated in terms of Cantt. Act and in conformity with Building bye-laws of Cantonment Board. |

| ELECTRICITY & STREET LIGHTING |

In Bareilly Cantonment, MES has been supplying, distributing and managing Electricity Network in the Entire Station including Bungalow Area and Civil Areas. In the recent years there has been an acute crisis of Electricity for the residents of Civil Areas, Bungalow Area and even for C.F. Properties/Assets located in Cantonment.
The local Army formations as well as MES establishment have been insisting to pursue the UPPCL for transfer and to augment/take over Electricity Supply of Civil Areas & C.F. Properties. |

The water supply to the population of civil areas comprising Sadar Bazar, B.I. Bazar and R.A. Bazar is being catered to by the Cantonment Board. The MES is providing water supply to the Bungalow area. |

| WATER
CHARGES |

The water connections are provided by the Cantonment Board office on receipt of application and on deposit of requisite charges.
The residents are required to pay the water charges monthly up to the 10th day of every month. Apart from individual water connections, the Board has provided Hand-pumps and public Stand posts in civil/Bungalow area. |
