Cantonment Board is responsible for cleaning of streets, public places, Drains, removal and collection of garbage, abating nuisances and removal of noxious vegetation. The whole Cantonment has been divided into three zones for Sanitation purpose.

The Zones have been further divided into circles. Each zone is being looked after by the concerned S.I./A.S.I. and each circle is looked after by the C.J./S.J.

The new hospital complex has been inaugurated on 04th Feb, 2005 by His Excellency Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Hon'ble Vice President of India in the gracious presence of Shri Kiran Pal Singh, Cabinet Minister of Govt. of UP, Shri Santosh Gangwar, Hon'ble Member of Parliament from Local Parliamentary Constituency, Shri O.P. Mishra, Director, Defence Estates and Maj. Gen. B.W. Kelson, VSM, GOC, UB area amongst other Army and Senior Civil dignitaries.

The Cantonment General Hospital new Building and well laid out premises have been aesthetically created to cater adequate space for indoor patients, outdoor patients, Separate Female & Male Wards, Doctors and Specialists Chambers, Adm. Section, Dispensary, OTs, Delivery Rooms, Radiology, Gynacology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental, Paeditrics, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Orthopedic, Surgery Deptt. Isolation Wards and allied facilities etc. and to facilitate efficient functioning and availability of round the clock medical facilities in the complex.

Births and deaths within the cantonment limits are being registered in the Cantonment Board Office and certificates for the same are issued accordingly.

The registration of Births and Deaths is a statutory provision as such the citizens and concerned officials are required to submit the information in the prescribed format.

The Board is maintaining fire services on its own. The fire station is located in Sadar Bazar.
